Trek World 2009

The 2009 Trek line of bike and accessories was on display in Madison for all the Trek dealers August 15-17.There's lots of cool stuff coming out of Waterloo and Trek World gives us the opportunity to see it firsthand and talk to the people that are responsible for making it happen.

One of the major changes is the expansion of the Bontrager brand. Most of the equipment on Trek bikes is Bontrager (the Trek house brand which Kieth Bontrager is the namesake). For 2009 just about all accessories, clothing and shoes will be branded Bontrager. The shoes are great. Trek dealers needed a shoe replacement for Nike (Trek was the distributor for the Nike cycling line)
because Nike anbd Trek terminated their agreement after Nike decided to leave the bike market. The Bontrager shoes are designed by Trek and the results were very exciting. Pictures and more info coming.
